IT infrastructure operating method - aspects influencing decision making

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na oblast IT infrastruktury a zejména na výběr nejvhodnější varianty. Jejím účelem je poskytnout vhodný metodický postup, který zajistí a napomůže nalezení té nejvýhodnější varianty provozu IT infrastruktury prostřednictvím aplikace identifikovaných aspektů, které jsou v různé míře zastoupeny v rámci definované množiny variant, které různou měrou kombinují tradiční model provozu IT infrastruktury s Cloud Computing službami. Možnost reálného využití postupu je zkoumána na základě dostupných dat o několika organizacích.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the IT infrastructure field, mainly on the selection of its optimal variant. Its goal is to provide a suitable methodical procedure, which ensures and supports the most appropriate IT infrastructure operational model variant. It seeks to find it by way of identified aspects in use, which are, to various extents, incorporated within a defined variant set. These variants, in varying degrees, combine a traditional IT infrastructure operation model with Cloud Computing services. The possibility of application within real terms is examined based on available data of a few organizations.
