The subject of this thesis are the currency crisis in the Bretton Woods and post-Bretton Woods monetary system. The work is divided into four chapters. Predmetom diplomovej práce sú menové krízy v bretton-woodskom a post-bretton-woodskom menových systémoch. Práca je rozdelená do štyroch kapitol. Prvá kapitola definuje pojmy ako kríza, finančná kríza a rozčleňuje krízy do štyroch skupín. Druhá kapitola sa zaoberá jednotlivými menovými sústavami.
