The theme of diploma thesis is relationship of unemployment and economic growth, which can be expressed by Okun's law. This inverse relationship has several ways of defining and individual variants are described in the beginning of the thesis. Témou diplomovej práce je vzťah nezamestnanosti a rastu ekonomiky, ktorý je možné vyjadriť Okunovým zákonom. Tento nepriamo úmerný vzťah má niekoľko spôsobov definovania a jednotlivé varianty sú popísané v úvode práce.
