Tato práce pojednává o významu a vlivu druhé vlny hardcore punkové subkultury zvané straight edge. Ta se stala významným faktorem určujícím dnešní podobu punkového hnutí. Práce se v první části snaží popsat historické okolnosti vzniku této subkultury stejně jako její průběh a další pokračování. This thesis discusses the importance and impact of second wave of hardcore punk subculture called straight edge. This wave has become an important factor that shaped today?s appearence of the punk movement.
