Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, v první autor sleduje a hodnotí výskyt vrozených srdečních vad a úroveň jejich prenatální detekce v Moravskoslezském kraji a dále je zkoumán vztah vrozených srdečních vad a možných rizikových faktorů pro jejich vznik.
