Project life cycle of the Document Storage 2

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá životním cyklem a řízením projektu Document Storage 2 ze strany objednatele ve vybrané společnosti. Čtenář se seznámí s tím, jak systém Document Storage fungoval před zavedením tohoto projektu a proč bylo dobré systém vylepšit, jak projekt probíhal a jak dopadl.Cílem této práce je aplikovat interní metodiku řízení projektu ve vybrané společnosti na projekt Document Storage 2 (webová aplikace pro ukládání dokumentů), popsat tak průběh celého životního cyklu projektu, následně vyhodnotit dosažené přínosy po implementaci nového řešení porovnáním oproti tomu původnímu a navrhnout další možnosti na vylepšení systému.V teoretické části je popsána teorie projektového řízení, modely životního cyklu a další důležité pojmy této problematiky.Praktická část navazuje na teoretický základ z první části práce a obsahuje také specifikaci požadavků na nový systém, testování systému a komunikaci s dodavatelem pomocí SaaS nástroje Trello pro správu podnětů a požadavků na doplnění či opravu.V závěru práce je vyhodnocen průběh projektu, finální produkt a přínos nového řešení pro firmu a jeho uživatele.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the project life cycle and project management of the Document Storage 2 by the client in the selected company. The reader gets to know the Document Storage system worked before the project started and why it was good to improve the system, how the project proceeded and ended up.The aim of this thesis is to apply internal project management methodology in the selected company to Document Storage 2 project (web application for document storage), describe the entire project life cycle, then evaluate the achieved benefits after the implementation of the new solution by comparison with the original solution and propose further options for the system improvement.The theoretical part describes the theory of project management, life cycle models and other important concepts of this theme.The practical part builds on the theoretical basis of the first part of the thesis and will also include the specification of new system requirements, system testing and communication with the supplier via Trello tool to manage suggestions and requests for additions or corrections.At the end of the thesis I evaluate the course of the project, the final product and the benefit of the new solution for the company and its users.
