Sepse představuje významný medicínský problém kvůli své vysoké incidenci a mortalitě. Jádrem patofyziologie sepse je zánět. VNS je slibnou imunomodulační metodou založenou na komplexní interakci imunitního a centrálního nervového systému. Sepsis is a major medical problem due to its high incidence and mortality. Inflammation forms the core of sepsis pathophysiology. VNS is a promising immunomodulatory method based on the complex interaction of the immune and central nervous systems.
