Comparing lower-secondary-level mathematics teaching at basic schools and lower grammar schools

Abstract:

Má diplomová práce se zabývá srovnáním výuky matematiky na druhém stupni základní školy a na nižším gymnáziu. Tato práce není specificky rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část, ale je spojena do jednoho celku. Zahrnuje kapitoly jako rámcový vzdělávací program, školský systém České republiky, srovnání výuky matematiky podle obsahu učebnic, vizuální stránky učebnic či podle obtížnosti zadání. V neposlední řadě také obsahuje diskuzi a závěr. Cílem této práce je najít rozdíly ve výuce matematiky podle porovnávání dvou řad učebnic, konkrétně jsou to série učebnic od Odvárko - Kadleček pro druhý stupeň základní školy a od Hermana a kol., který se svými spolupracovníky vytvořil studijní materiál pro nižší gymnázium.

Abstract:

My thesis investigates comparing secondary-level mathematics teaching at basic schools and lower grammar schools in the Czech Republic. This work is not specifically divided into a theoretical and a practical part, those are combined into one. The thesis includes chapters such as the Framework Educational Program, the Education System of the Czech Republic, comparison of teaching by the content of textbooks, visual of textbooks and by the exercise difficulty levels. Last but not least, it also contains a discussion and a conclusion. The aim of this work is to find differences in mathematics teaching by comparing two series of textbooks, namely a series of textbooks by Odvárek and Kadleček for the secondary level at basic school and by Herman et all, who with his colleagues created study material for lower grammar school.
