Bakalářská práce se zabývá ventilátorovou pneumonií jako infekcí spojenou se zdravotní péčí. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou část a praktickou část. V teoretické části je třeba se seznámit se základní anatomií a fyziologií dýchacího systému, se způsoby zajištění dýchacích cest, s umělou plicní ventilací, infekcemi spojenými se zdravotní péčí a ventilátorovou pneumonií.
