Abstract:
Cystická fibróza a jiné monogenně dědičné poruchy jsou vhodnými kandidáty pro genovou terapii, neboť v převážné většině u nich jsou způsobeny mutací jednoho genu. Genová terapie spočívá ve vnesení požadované genetické informace za pomocí vektorového systémů do buňky. Cystic fibrosis and other monogenetically inherited diseases are great candidates for gene therapy as they are caused by one gene mutation. Gene therapy is based on transfer of "healthy" gene into "sick" cell using appropriate vector system.
