The Use of Activating Methods in Prevention of Conflict Situations in Social Science Classes in Secondary Schools

Abstract:

Předkládaná diplomová práce pojednává o problematice vlivu aktivizujících výukových metod na třídní klima, zejména pak na jejich využití v prevenci konfliktních situací. Cílem bylo postihnout teoretická východiska konfliktů ve výuce a popsat a klasifikovat jednotlivé výukové metody s ohledem na předcházení konfliktním situacím. Součástí práce jsou pozorování z hodin ZSV vedených za pomoci aktivizujících metod, která mají přispět k lepšímu pochopení vztahu mezi volbou výukové metody a chováním žáků.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of the relationship between activating teaching methods and the class climate, notably the use of activating methods in prevention of conflict situations in educational environment. It aims to analyse the theoretical background of conflicts in the classroom and to describe and classify teaching methods with regard to their influence on the occurrence of conflict situations. The final part of the thesis deals with observations in social science classes which should help better understand the relationship between a choice of a teaching method and the behaviour of students.
