The use of Danio rerio embryos for toxicity testing (FET)
Abstract:
FET testy (fish embryo toxicity) jsou používány k určení akutní toxicity chemických látek. K tomuto testu jsou využívána embrya Danio rerio. Bakalářská práce je uceleným přehledem FET testů. Práce obsahuje informace o rybách Danio rerio a jejich využití jako modelový organismus při FET testech. Součástí práce je praktický doplněk, ve kterém byla testována sloučenina boranu.
Abstract:
FET tests (fish embryo toxicity) are used to to assess the toxicity of chemical substances. For this test are used embryos Danio rerio. Bachelor thesis is provides a comprehensive overview of FET tests. Thesis contains information about Danio rerio fish and their use as a model organism in FET tests. Part of the work is a practical supplement in which the borane compound was tested.
