Motivation of language students in companies

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Motivace studentů jazyků ve firemním sektoru“ je zaměřena na problematiku vzdělání zaměstnanců a to u dvou různých firem v Plzeňském kraji. Obě firmách byly podrobeny dotazníkovému šetření s hlavním cílem zjistit zda jsou zaměstnanci dostatečně motivování ke studiu a jaké jsou hlavní motivační faktory. Autor vychází z poznatků teoretické části, teda přepokládá, že většina podniků svým zaměstnancům poskytuje firemní vzdělávání a snaží se své zaměstnance k studiu jazyků určitých způsobem motivovat. Dále předpokládá, že nejčastější motivační faktorem je peněžní odměna. Dle zjištěných výsledků dochází k závěru, že přestože podniky své zaměstnance motivují a to převážně peněžní formou, tak zaměstnanci nepovažují motivaci za dostatečnou.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Motivation of Language Students in the Corporate Sector" focuses on the issue of employee education at two different companies in the Pilsen Region. In both companies, a questionnaire survey was carried out with the main aim of determining whether employees are sufficiently motivated to study and what are the main motivating factors. The author draws on the theoretical part of the thesis, ie he assumes that most companies provide their employees with corporate training and try to motivate their employees to study jazky in a certain way. It also assumes that the most frequent motivation factor is cash reward. According to the results, it is concluded that although the companies motivate their employees, mostly in cash, employees do not consider motivation sufficient.
