Abstract:
Moje diplomová práce se věnuje písmu Comic Sans, popisu jeho vzniku, souvislostí a fenoménu, který je s tímto písmem spajt. Blíže se věnuji postavě autora tohoto písma - Vincenta Connare a jeho typografické práci pro společnost Microsoft Corporation. Osvětluji některé skutečnosti, které souvisí s rozvojem digitální typografie a jejím vlivem na současnou vizuální kulturu.
Abstract:
The main topic of my graduation theses is the font named Comic Sans. I try to introduce all typographical, historical and social aspects. More I focused on its author Vincent Connare and his work for Microsoft Corporation.
