A Qualitative Research of E-learning in a Topical Company's Environment

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je strukturována do několika základních částí. V první části se zabývám teoretickými východisky e-learningu, vzdělávání dospělých zejména v kontextu podnikového vzdělávání. Uvádím také základní přehled strategických dokumentů ČR a EU, které řeší téma e-learningu. Ve druhé části práce dále přibližuji e-learning pomocí charakteristických znaků. Zabývám se také rozvojem ICT a e-learningu v podnikatelském sektoru. Zachycuji aktuální trendy v oblasti elektronického vzdělávání. Ve třetí části se zabývám designováním e-learningového kurzu. Předkládám teoretické modely a přístupy, stejně jako konkrétní praktické návody pro tvorbu některých konkrétních součástí e-learningového kurzu. Empirická část práce obsahuje výsledky výzkumného šetření prováděného ve firmě Alfa Housing. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit, jakým způsobem funguje e-learningové vzdělávání v této společnosti. V diskuzi pak provádím další analýzu výsledků výzkumu, kdy využívám teoretickou část práce.

Abstract:

The thesis is divided into several basic sections. I deal with the theoretical resources of e-learning, an adult education in an in-house education especially in the first section. I present a basic overview of school-political documents of the Czech Republic and the European Union as well. I go in for the typical traits of e-learning further in the second section. I try to record current and up-to-date trends of e-learning. There is a topic about an e-learning course's design in the next section. I present the theoretical patterns as well as concrete instructions for making an e-learning course. The empirical section contains an outcome of survey that I've done in Alfa Housing Company. The goal of the survey was to find out how the e-learning education works in this company. I analyze the outcomes of the survey in a disputation with I use the theoretical sections of this thesis.
