The Financial Analysis of AGRO Staňkov, a.s.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na finanční analýzu společnosti AGRO Staňkov a.s. za období 2002-2012. Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit dopad fúze na AGRO Staňkov, a.s. s pomocí ukazatelů finanční analýzy Dalším cílem je porovnat hodnoty vybraných ukazatelů s regionálními konkurenty, jmenovitě to jsou Zemědělská akciová společnost Koloveč a Zemědělská společnost Srbice, a.s. Práce je strukturovaná do 5 hlavních kapitol. Cíle a metodika práce stanovuje cíle, jichž má být dosaženo. Druhou částí je teoretický úvod s vybranými teoretickými poznatky, které jsou využité pro zpracování finanční analýzy AGRO Staňkov, a.s. Další kapitolou je charakteristika podnikatelského subjektu, kde je shrnuta historie společnosti. SWOT analýza se skládá z externí a interní analýzy AGRO Staňkov, a.s. V čtvrté kapitole je vypracována finanční analýza společnosti AGRO Staňkov, a.s. Výstupy ukazatelů jsou porovnány s doporučenými hodnotami. Pak následuje srovnání vybraných ukazatelů AGRO Staňkov, a.s. s regionálními konkurenty. V páté kapitole jsou shrnuty výsledky finanční analýzy a navrhovaná doporučení, která mají společnosti napomoci k lepšímu finančnímu zdraví a dlouhodobé stabilitě

Abstract:

The master thesis is focused on financial analysis of the company AGRO Staňkov, a.s. during the years 2002-2012. The goal of the master thesis is to evaluate the impact of the merger on AGRO Staňkov, a.s. with help of the indicators of financial analysis. Another goal is to compare values of selected indicators with regional competitors, namely Zemědělská akciová společnost Koloveč and Zemědělská společnost Srbice, a.s. The thesis is structured into five main chapters. The chapter "Objectives and methodology of the thesis" sets out the goals that should be achieved. The second part is a theoretical preface with selected pieces of knowledge used in the financial analysis of AGRO Staňkov, a.s. Another chapter describes the characteristics of the business entity while summarizing history of the company. The SWOT analysis is based upon the external and internal analysis of AGRO Staňkov, a.s. In the fourth chapter there is a financial analysis of AGRO Staňkov, a.s. Output indicators are compared with the recommended values. Then follows the comparison of selected indicators of Agro Staňkov, a.s. with regional competitors. In the fifth chapter there is a summary of the financial analysis results as well as proposed recommendations that should help the company achieve financial health and long-term stability.
