Geocaching in the protected landscape area Žďárské vrchy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce popisuje a vyhodnocuje stav celosvětově oblíbené hry geocaching v chráněné krajinné oblasti Žďárské vrchy, kdy je geocaching chápán především jako volnočasová aktivita a doplněk cestovního ruchu. Práce je složena z teoretické části, ve které jsou uvedeny všeobecné informace o hře a jejím vývoji. Také je zde popsán vztah geocachingu s dalšími vědními obory a ve vztahu k přírodnímu prostředí. Na teoretickou část navazuje praktická část, která analyzuje cache dle jejich jednotlivých vlastností. Formou terénního průzkumu bylo zjišťováno, nedochází-li k porušení omezení pro umístění cachí v MZCHÚ. Tyto výsledky naznačily zajímavé závěry, přesto poměrně pozitivní, díky kterým mohla být zpracována návrhová část. Výsledné výstupy mohou být využity k odhadu vývoje geocachingu na území CHKO Žďárské vrchy a k eliminaci negativních vlivů na přírodní prostředí.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis describes and evaluates the status of the popular geocaching game in the protected landscape area Žďárské vrchy, where geocaching is understood mainly as a leisure activity and tourism supplement. Thesis consists of a theoretical part, which provides general information about the game and its history. It also describes its relationship between geocaching and other sciences and its relationship with natural environment. The theoretical part is followed by the practical part, which analyses caches according to their individual features. A form of a field research was conducted in order to find out whether restrictions regarding placement of the caches in „MZCHÚ" (small-scale special protected areas) are violated or not. These results indicate intriguing, yet rather positive conclusions. By virtue of them, the design part could be elaborated. Final outputs can be used to estimate the development of geocaching in the protected landscape area Žďárské vrchy and to eliminate its negative impacts on natural environment.
