Nurse as a personality and example

Abstract:

Práce se zaměřuje na pozitivní psychologii a její souvislost s praxí všeobecných sester.Konkrétně se zabýváme silnými stránkami charakteru a ctností dle Petersona a Seligmana. Z vybraných ctností zkoumáme právě moudrost a poznání. Cílem této práce je nalézt podobnosti v silných stránkách charakteru u tří zdravotních sester, které byly jinými sestrami vybrány jako vzor. Pomocí rozhovoru zjišťujeme jejich sebehodnocení ve vybraných oblastech tvořivost, zvídavost, otevřenost mysli, láska k učení a vhled, které reprezentují moudrost a poznání. Zajímá nás sebehodnocení, konkrétně jak sami sebe hodnotí jako vzor. Zkoumáme, zda existuje charakterová shoda a jak jimi vybraná silná stránka charakteru ovlivňuje jejich profesní život.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on positive psychology and its connection with nurses work.In particular aspects I deal with character's strong points and virtues according to Peterson and Seligman. From the chosen virtues we examine exactly the wisdom and knowledge. The aim of this work is to find the similarities in personality trait of three nurses who were chosen as an example of an ideal nurse by their colleague nurses. With the aid of an interview we find their self-evaluation in selected areas creativity, curiosity, openness of mind, a love of learning and insight that represent wisdom and knowledge. We are interested in their self-evaluation, especially how they evaluate themselves as an example of an ideal nurse. We examine whether there is a character consensus and how their chosen character strengths affect their professional life.
