Analysis of Czech Post electronic services

Abstract:

Česká pošta, s.p. v souladu se svými strategickými cíli, v návaznosti na měnící se podmínky a požadavky klientů a s rozvojem nových informačních a komunikačních technologií, doplňuje tradiční poštovní služby novými moderními elektronickými službami. Tématem této bakalářské práce je posouzení nabídky elektronických služeb České pošty, s.p., konkrétněji analýza Certifikační autority PostSignum. V teoretické části je čtenář seznamován s charakteristikou podniku, se základními údaji o elektronických službách České pošty, s.p. a s legislativními normami, na základě kterých jsou služby Certifikační autority PostSignum poskytovány. Teoretická část se dotýká i potenciálních problémů, se kterými se může poskytovatel i uživatel akreditovaných certifikačních služeb setkat. Analytická část je věnována posouzení nabídky elektronických služeb PostSignum a srovnání s konkurenčními akreditovanými poskytovateli. Z bakalářské práce je zřejmé, že se elektronické služby stávají důležitou součástí nové tváře České pošty, s.p. a ta získává pozici dominantního akreditovaného poskytovatele elektronických služeb. Možnosti zlepšení služeb a upevnění pozice na trhu vidím zejména v rozšíření servisních a poradenských služeb.

Abstract:

Česká pošta, s.p. in line with its strategic objectives, in connection with the changing customers? conditions and requirements, and development of new information and communication technologies, complements the traditional post services with new modern electronic services. The theme of this bachelor?s thesis focuses on an assessment of Electronic Services Offer provided by Česká pošta, s.p., in particular an analysis of the Certification Authority PostSignum. In the theoretical part the company?s characteristic is presented, as well as the basic data on electronic services of Česká pošta, s.p, the regulatory standards based on which the services of the Certification Authority PostSignum are provided. The theoretical part alludes to potential issues the provider and the user of accredited certification services may encounter. The analytical part presents the assessment of electronic services PostSignum and the comparison with the competitive accredited providers. The bachelor thesis clearly indicates, that electronic services are becoming a substantial part of the new face of Česká pošta, s.p., and that Česká pošta, s.p. is growing into a position of a dominant accredited provider of electronic services. I see further opportunities in services improvement and the market position consolidation mainly in expansion of customer and consultancy services.
