Interior Light

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o generativním designu a jeho využití při tvorbě interiérového svítidla. Teoretická část se nejdříve zaměřuje na generativní design. Popisuje problematiku, způsoby generování, dostupný software a uvádí příklady z mnoha odvětví, ve kterých se používá. Dále úsek o osvětlování a poslední oddíl shrnuje mé inspirační zdroje, ze kterých vycházím. Praktická část popisuje celý proces navrhování od prvotní skici přes modelování až po finální výrobu prototypu. Obsahuje také část o zkouškách použitých materiálů a jejich vlastnostech následovaných popisem výroby.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is about Generative design and its use in the creation of interior lighting. The theoretical part focuses on generative design. It describes the issues, methods of generation, available software and gives examples from many industries in which it is used. Furthermore, the section on lighting and the last section summarizes my sources of inspiration from which I draw. The practical part describes the entire design process from the initial sketches through modeling to the final production of the prototype. It also contains part of the tests of the materials used and their properties followed by a description of the production.
