This bachelor thesis aims to find out whether the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic is financed by the Czech National Bank, based on Modern Monetary Theory. In the first part, we will focus on the independence of central banks, in the next chapter on the Modern Monetary Theory itself. Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je zistiť, či je Ministerstvom financií Českej republiky financované Českou národnou bankou, a to na základe Modernej monetárnej teórie. V prvej časti sa zameriame na nezávislosť centrálnych bánk, v nasledujúcej kapitole na samotnú Modernú monetárnu teóriu.
