A study of the attitudes and opinions of secondary school pupils towards waste sorting and recycling

Abstract:

Třídění a recyklace odpadu jsou nesmrtelná témata, která nejen ve školství se často probírají. V České republice ne každý Čech ví, že třídění a recyklace jsou odlišné pojmy. A také osud vyhazovaných plastů je nám jen málokdy znám. Tato bakalářská práce popisuje environmentální a ekologickou výchovu, výchovu o Zemi, globální výchovu aj. Ale také stručně problematiku třídění a recyklace odpadů, zvláště plastů. Dále metody využívané v ekologické výchově čili prostředky, pomocí kterých by se žáci měli o problematice třídění a recyklaci odpadu něco dozvědět, ale zejména formovat si správné názory a postoje. Právě postoje a názory byly pomocí dotazníku zjišťovány u žáků Střední zahradnické školy Rajhrad a pomocí popisné statistiky byly vyhodnoceny výsledky.

Abstract:

Waste sorting and recycling are immortal topics that are often discussed not only in education. In the Czech Republic, not every Czech knows that sorting and recycling are different concepts. And the fate of discarded plastics is rarely known to us. This bachelor´s thesis describes environmental and ecological education, education about the Earth, global education, etc. But also briefly the issue of sorting and recycling waste, especially plastics. Furthermore, the methods used in ecological education, i. e. the means by which pupils should learn something about the issue of waste sorting and recycling, but especially to form the right and attitudes. The attitudes and opinions of the students of the Secondary School of Horticulture in Rajhrad were determined using a questionnaire, and the results were evaluated using descriptive statistics.
