Analysis of environment of the real company X

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je poskytnout majiteli sledované firmy informace o podnikovém okolí. Protože se jedná o začínající firmu a je vhodné, aby majitel znal dobře vnější i vnitřní prostředí své firmy, stanovil jsem si za cíl provést analýzu také vnitřního prostředí firmy. Sledovaná firma je výrobcem paralelně vinutých papírových dutinek a pro lepší pochopení souvislostí jsem udělal rozhovor s majitelem sledované firmy, ve kterém majitel uvádí některé citlivé údaje o firmě, a proto si přál, aby byla jeho firma zůstala v anonymitě. Prostředkem k dosáhnutí stanoveného cíle je analýza podnikového okolí s použitím metod PESTLE analýzy pro analýzu makrookolí a Porterovy analýzy pěti sil pro analýzu mikrookolí. Pro analýzu vnitřního prostředí jsem vypracoval VRIO analýzu, finanční analýzu a Porterův hodnototvorný řetězec. Na závěr jsem provedl syntézu zjištěných dat pomocí SWOT analýzy. V závěru práce shrnuji zjištěná data ze všech provedených analýz a přikládám majiteli sledované firmy doporučení.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor’s thesis is to provide the owner of the monitored company information about the corporate environment. It is a starting company and it is appropriate that the owner knows the external and internal environment of his company, so I set the goal to analyze the internal environment of the company as well. The monitored company is a manufacturer of parallel wound paper tubes and for a better understanding of the context, I interviewed the owner of the monitored company in which the owner mentioned some sensitive information about his company and therefore wished his company to remain anonymous. The means to achieve the set goal is to analyze the business environment using PESTLE analysis methods for macroenvironment analysis and Porter's five-force analysis for microenvironment analysis. To analyze the internal environment, I developed VRIO analysis, financial analysis and Porter's value chain. In conclusion, I made a synthesis of the data using SWOT analysis. At the end of the work I summarize the data from all performed analyzes and I give the owner of the monitored company a recommendation.
