Orthogonal polynomials and their usage

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá ortogonálními polynomy a jejich použitím. Nejdříve jsou představeny vlastnosti ortogonálních polynomů a systémů. Následně je proveden rozbor základních druhů a na závěr jsou uvedeny některé způsoby použití. Součástí práce jsou zdrojové kódy algoritmů v softwaru MATLAB pro výpočet polynomů zmiňovaných typů a vykreslení jejich grafu.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with orthogonal polynomials and their usage. Foremost, properties of orthogonal polynomials and systems are presented. Subsequently, an analysis of basic types is performed and in conclusion some ways of usage are listed. The paper also contains the source code of algorithms in software MATLAB to calculate mentioned polynomial types and plot their graphs.
