Involvement of the Brno citizens in the care of public greenery with focus on marketing communication

Abstract:

V první části se tato diplomová práce zaměřuje na přiblížení postupů, prostředků a problémů péče o veřejnou zeleň města Brna. Druhá část představuje možnosti zapojení veřejnosti do tvorby zeleně, kde je aktuální praxe rozdělena podle druhů činnosti na podkapitoly, kdy každá poskytuje příklad participace brněnských obyvatel. Poslední část se zaměřuje na marketingovou komunikaci města Brna v dané problematice. Cílem je zjistit, zda město Brno poskytuje dostatek prostředků k zapojení veřejnosti do péče a vymezit možnosti, kterými se mohou zapojovat.

Abstract:

In the first part, this diploma thesis focuses on the approach, procedures and problems of care for public greenery of the city of Brno. The second part presents the pos-sibilities of public involvement in the creation of greenery, where the current practice is divided according to the types of activities into subchapters, each of which provides an example of the participation of the Brno population. The last part focuses on the marketing communication of the city of Brno in the given issue. The aim is to find out whether the city of Brno provides sufficient resources to involve the public in care and to define the possibilities by which they can get involved.
