The quality of workplace relationships and resilience and their effect on work efficiency

Abstract:

Spokojenost, správný výběr a udržení zaměstnanců je základním pilířem pro dobře fungující podnik a proto se má bakalářská práce zaměřuje na personalistiku a její význam v hierarchii firem a institucí. Hlavním cílem této práce je zhodnotit současný stav personální práce ve VZP a najít případné cesty a možnosti, jak tuto činnost zlepšit. V teoretické části práce se věnuji východiskům, jako je resilience zaměstnanců a jejich vedení, získávání a výběr zaměstnanců, přijímání nových pracovníků a adaptační proces, motivace a odměňování zaměstnanců, hodnocení zaměstnanců a vzdělávání a osobní rozvoj zaměstnanců. V praktické části, kde je představena zvolená organizace. A jsou zde popsány postupy náboru a výběru zaměstnanců, adaptační proces nových pracovníků, systém odměňování a motivace zaměstnanců, hodnocení zaměstnanců a vzdělávání a osobní rozvoj zaměstnanců v této organizaci. Práce se dále zabývá výsledky a doporučeními z provedeného dotazníkového šetření týkajícího se personalistiky ve zkoumané organizaci. Diskuze pak analyzuje a interpretuje získané výsledky, zatímco závěr shrnuje hlavní poznatky a přínosy této práce.

Abstract:

Employee satisfaction, proper selection, and employee retention are the fundamental pillars of a well-functioning company. Therefore, this bachelor's thesis focuses on human resource management and its significance within the hierarchy of companies and institutions. The main objective of this thesis is to evaluate the current state of personnel work in VZP (Všeobecná zdravotní pojišťovna), a Czech health insurance company, and identify potential avenues and opportunities for improving this function. In the theoretical part of the thesis, I address foundations such as employee resilience and leadership, employee recruitment and selection, onboarding of new employees and the adaptation process, employee motivation and rewards, employee performance evaluation, and employee education and personal development. In the practical part, the chosen organization is introduced. This section describes the procedures for employee recruitment and selection, onboarding of new employees, the system of employee rewards and motivation, employee performance evaluation, and employee education and personal development within this organization. Furthermore, the thesis deals with the results and recommendations obtained from a conducted questionnaire survey focused on human resource management in the studied organization. The discussion analyzes and interprets the gathered results, while the conclusion summarizes the main findings and contributions of this thesis.
