This thesis examines the status of Britain in the European Community and subsequently in the European Union. It analyses historical events that led Britain to the European integration and highlights the political and economic influence of Britain in the entire Europe. Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá postavením Velké Británie v Evropském společenství a následně v Evropské unii. Analyzuje historické události, které vedly Británii k evropské integraci, a poukazuje na politický a ekonomický vliv Británie v rámci evropského celku. Dále se zaměřuje na hlavní příčiny britského euroskepticismu a důsledky případného odchodu Británie z Evropské unie.
