Experiencing Pregnancy and Preparation for Childbirth
Abstract:
Práce se zabývá těhotenstvím a přípravou žen na porod. Výzkum je prováděn především skrze rozhovory s těhotnými ženami, zúčastněné pozorování na předporodních kurzech v Pardubicích a Trutnově a je doplněný rozhovorem s porodní asistentkou a dotazníkem pro duly. Teoretická část zahrnuje přehled historie medicínské antropologie, antropologie porodu a historii porodního systému v České republice.
Abstract:
The work deals with pregnancy and preparation for childbirth. Research is mainly carried out through interviews with pregnant women and participant observation in antenatal courses in Pardubice and Trutnov, supplemented by interview with a midwife and questionnaire for doulas.
