Serious somatic diseases in the school context

Abstract:

Diplomová práce nese název „Závažná somatická onemocnění ve školním kontextu“, což je aktuální téma, které pojednává o individuálních potřebách a omezeních somaticky nemocných žáků a dalších klíčových aktérů, kteří se podílejí na jejich vzdělávacím procesu. Cílem této práce je zjistit, jak konkrétní somatická onemocnění ovlivňují vzdělávací proces žáků a na základě toho sestavit webové stránky, které budou nápomocny učitelům somaticky nemocných žáků a dalším zájemcům o tuto problematiku. Tato práce je rozdělena do dvou stěžejních částí, teoretické a praktické. V teoretické části této práce jsou vymezena základní teoretická východiska čerpaná z odborné literatury. Praktická část se soustředí na naplnění výzkumných cílů. V rámci praktické části jsou zvoleny kvalitativní výzkumné metody, přičemž jako metoda sběru dat slouží polostrukturovaný rozhovor a dotazník s otevřenými otázkami, které byly provedeny s klíčovými osobami.

Abstract:

The name of the Master thesis is “Serious somatic diseases in the school context”, which is a current topic, and which deals with individual needs and limitations of serious somatic ill children and key factors, which are involved in the educational process. The aim of the thesis is to find out, how concrete diseases influence the educational process of these pupils and based on the results, to create a website, which will be useful for teachers of somatic ill pupils and also for those simply interested in this theme. This thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part defines theoretical basics referring to the topic, which are drawn from professional literature. The practical part is focused on meeting the research goals. The research methods used in the practical part are qualitative and as the method of collecting data, the thesis uses a semi-structured interview and a questionnaire with open questions, which were performed with key persons.
