Building digital competence in the educational field of Informatics

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice rozvoje klíčové kompetence digitální ve výuce ve vzdělávací oblasti Informatika na základní škole. V rámci teoretické části byly rozepsány všechny klíčové kompetence ve vzdělávání, včetně klíčové kompetence digitální a popis vzdělávací oblasti Informatiky v základním vzdělávání. Cílem diplomové práce bylo navrhnout vhodné stupňované učební aktivity, které vedly k posilování klíčové kompetence digitální. V rámci praktické části bylo vytvořeno šest stupňovaných učebních aktivit, které se zaměřovaly na 4. - 5. třídu, 6. - 7. třídu a 8. - 9. třídu základních škol. Těchto šest stupňovaných učebních aktivit bylo rozděleno do dvou vzdělávacích obsahů vzdělávací oblasti Informatiky. Tři stupňované učební aktivity se zaměřovaly na oblast "Informační systémy", konkrétně na práci s tabulkami, grafy a funkcemi. Další tři stupňované učební aktivity se zaměřovaly na oblast "Digitální technologie", konkrétně na téma bezpečnost a digitální identita. Těchto šest stupňovaných učebních aktivit bylo ověřeno ve výuce v hodinách Informatiky. V rámci metodologie výzkumné části byla zvolena kvalitativně orientovaná metoda přímého pedagogického pozorování. Cílem navržených učebních aktivit byla praktická využitelnost a proveditelnost ve výuce a možné budoucí využití pro ostatní učitele Informatiky na základních školách.

Abstract:

The thesis is focused on the development of the key competence digital in the teaching of the educational area of Informatics at primary school. Within the theoretical part, all key competences in education, including the key competence digital and a description of the educational area of Informatics in Primary Education were analyzed. The aim of the thesis was to design appropriate graded learning activities that led to the strengthening of the key competence digital. In the practical part, six graded learning activities were designed, targeting Grades 4-5, Grades 6-7 and Grades 8-9 of primary schools. These six graded learning activities were divided into two educational contents of the Informatics learning area. The three graded learning activities focused on the area of "Information Systems", specifically working with tables, graphs and functions. The other three graded learning activities focused on the area of "Digital Technologies", specifically on the topic of security and digital identity. These six graded learning activities were validated in Computer Science classes. Within the methodology of the research part, a qualitative method of direct pedagogical observation was chosen. The aim of the proposed learning activities was the practical applicability and feasibility in the classroom and possible future use for other primary school Computer Science teachers.
