Ecosystem functions of weed vegetation on railways in agricultural landscapes

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce bylo vyhodnotit složení rostlinných druhů na fragmentovaných stanovištích (Kolejiště, Zelený pás, Zemědělský pozemek) v blízkosti železničních tratí (Brno – Střelice u Brna a Brno – Šlapanice u Brna). Byla vyhodnocena vegetační pokryvnost zjištěných rostlinných druhů a posouzeny hodnoty vybraných ekologických indikátorů. Nalezené rostlinné druhy byly dle svého výskytu rozděleny do pěti skupin. První skupina druhů měla vyšší pokryvnost především v úseku železniční tratě (Kolejiště) a byl to druh Verbascum densiflorum. Druhá skupina druhů měla vyšší pokryvnost především úseku železniční tratě (Kolejiště) a také v úseku Zelený pás, nejvyšší pokryvnost měly Rubus, Calystegia sepium, Galium aparine Convolvuslus arvensis. Třetí skupina druhů měla vyšší pokryvnost především v úseku Zeleného pásu, nejvyšší pokryvnost představovaly Calystegia sepium, Rubus, Convolvulus arvensis, Artemisia vulgaris, Galium aparine. Čtvrtá skupina druhů měla vyšší pokryvnost především v úsecích Zeleného pásu a orné půdy (Zemědělský pozemek), jednalo se o druhy: Papaver rhoeas, Veronica persica, Polygonum aviculare, Lamium amplexicaule. Pátá skupina druhů měla vyšší pokryvnost především v úseku orné půdy (Zemědělský pozemek), jednalo se o druh Triticum aestivum. Z výsledků této práce lze usuzovat, že z hlediska biologické relevance a salinity nebyly mezi uvedenými lokalitami zjištěny významné rozdíly. Z hlediska produkce nektaru, kontinentality a dostupnosti dusíku mezi sledovanými plochami rozdíly zjištěny byly.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to evaluate the composition of plant species on fragmented habitats (railway tracks, green belt, agricultural land) in the vicinity of railway lines (Brno – Střelice u Brna and Brno – Šlapanice u Brna). The vegetation cover of the plant species found was evaluated and the values of selected ecological indicators were assessed. The found plant species were divided into five groups according to their occurrence. The first group of species of Verbascum densiforum had a higher coverage mainly in the section of the railway line. The second group of species had a higher coverage mainly in the sectaion of the railway line and also in the green belt section, the following had the highest coverage: Rubus, Calystegia sepium, Galium aparine Convolvuslus arvensis. The third group of species had a higher coverage mainly in the green belt section, the highest coverage was represented by Calystegia sepium, Rubus, Convolvulus arvensis, Artemisia vulgaris, Galium aparine. The fourth group of species had higher coverage mainly in the green belt and agricultural land sections, these were namely: Papaver rhoeas, Veronica persica, Polygonum aviculare, Lamium amplexicaule. The fifth group of species had a higher coverage mainly in the agricultural land section, particularly the species Triticum aestivum. From the results of this work, it can be concluded that there were no significant differences between these sites in terms of biological relevance and salinity. In terms of nectar production, continentality and nitrogen availability, differences were found among the study sites.
