Stylistic text analysis of the online articles about Natascha Kampusch case, represented in sueddeutsche.de and Bild.de

Abstract:

The subject of this thesis is a stylistic analysis of the articles from two online journals, concerning the kidnap of Natasha Kampusch. The theoretical part deals with the way and the effects of displaying the violence in the media, but also with the ethics in the media generally. Since the thesis is working with the online version of journals, the theoretical part includes concepts concerning the mass media, new media and the hypertext. Practical analyses of newspapers Bild and Sueddeutsche Zeitung aim to demonstrate the diversity of these texts (and genres), which may be published in two different types of newspapers, dealing with the same topic. According to the analyses, the thesis deals not only with the differences between the journals, but also with the common features, which are nowadays reflected in the demand of readers.

Abstract:

Predmetom tejto diplomovej práce je štylistická analýza online verzií článkov z dvoch denníkov, týkajúca sa prípadu únosu Natasche Kampusch. Teoretická časť sa zaoberá nielen spôsobom a účinkami zobrazenia násilia v médiách, ale pojednáva aj etiku v médiách všeobecne. Keďže sa jedná o online verzie denníkov, teoretická časť sa zaoberá aj pojmami ako masmédiá, nové médiá a hypertext. Praktické analýzy z denníkov Bild a Süddeutsche Zeitung si kladú za cieľ dokázať rôznorodosť textov (a žánrov), ktoré môžu byť publikované v dvoch odlišných typoch denníkov na tú istú tému. Na základe vykonaných analýz práca pojednáva nielen rozdiely medzi jednotlivými denníkmi, ale aj spoločné črty, ktoré sa na základe dopytu čitateľov prejavujú čoraz viac.
