Abstract:

MÜLLEROVÁ, Stela: Social Insurance and Public Finance. [Bachelor’s Thesis]. Banking Institute, College of Banking Prague, Foreign College Banská Bystrica. Department of Economic and Social Sciences. Thesis Supervisor: prof. JUDr. Vojtech Tkáč, CSc. Year of defence: 2013. Number of pages: 65 The author analyses the important trends in public finances in Slovakia. The thesis focuses on the theory of public finance in the context of international guidance methodologies of the European Union. It describes the basic functions of public finance, its significance in terms of budget systems, development of public revenue and public expenditure. It also deals with fiscal imbalances, budget deficit and public debt. The author focuses her attention to the area of social insurance and describes changes in social security and its developmental stages. The analytical part concerns analysis of the function of the Social Insurance Company as a public institution. The main aim of the thesis is to assess the impact of changes in social insurance on public finance and to analyse the pension system after the introduction of pension reform.

Katedra ekonómie, oceňovania, spoločenských vied a práva. Vedúci práce: prof. JUDr. Vojtech Tkáč, CSc. Rok obhajoby: 2013. Počet strán: 65 Autorka analyzuje podstatné tendencie vo verejných financiách na Slovensku. Zameriava sa na teóriu verejných financií v kontexte medzinárodných smerodajných metodík Európskej únie. Popisuje základné funkcie verejných financií, ich význam z hľadiska rozpočtových sústav, vývoj verejných príjmov a verejných výdavkov. Zaoberá sa taktiež fiškálnou nerovnováhou, rozpočtovým deficitom a verejným dlhom. V oblasti sociálneho poistenia zameriava autorka svoju pozornosť najmä na zmeny v sociálnom zabezpečení, kde popisuje jednotlivé vývojové etapy. V analytickej časti sa autorka venuje analýze funkcie Sociálnej poisťovne ako verejnoprávnej inštitúcie. Hlavným zameraním je posúdenie vplyvu zmien v sociálnom poistení na stav verejných financií a analýza dôchodkového systému po zavedení dôchodkovej reformy.
