Educational process in the field of the newborn care for women in the puerperium

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na edukační proces u šestinedělky v oblasti péče o novorozence. Je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část obsahuje zastoupení porodní asistentky v roli edukátorky a její náplň práce, dále se tato část zabývá klasifikací novorozence a definuje jednotlivá specifika péče. Praktická část se zabývá kvalitativním výzkumem, který obsahuje polostrukturovaný rozhovor, metodu edukace a přímé zúčastněné pozorování. Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, zda a v jaké míře je šestinedělka edukována v oblasti péče o novorozence. Jednotlivé dílčí cíle u šestinedělky odhalily nedostatek poskytnutých informací v oblastech základní péče o novorozence. Na základě tohoto zjištění byly vyhodnoceny problematické oblasti edukace a v rámci těchto oblastí byl proveden edukační proces. Při ověření jeho úspěšnosti byla prokázána jeho dostatečná efektivita. Znalosti byly ověřeny na základě cíleně kladených otázek a dovednosti metodou přímého zúčastněného pozorování.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the educational process in a woman in the puerperium in the field of care for newborn. It is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains the representation of the midwife in the role of an educator and her job description, this part also deals with the classification of the newborn and defines the individual specifics of care. The practical part deals with qualitative research, which includes a semi-structured interview, a method of education and direct participant observation. The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether and to what extent woman in the puerperium is educated in the field of care for newborn. The individual sub-objectives in a woman in the puerperium revealed a lack of information provided in the areas of basic care for newborn. Based on this finding, problematic areas of education were evaluated and an educational process was carried out within these areas. When verifying its success, its sufficient effectiveness was proven. The knowledge was verified on the basis of targeted questions and skills by the method of direct participant observation.
