Předkládaná diplomová práce je zaměřena na pochopení problematiky zpracování radioaktivních odpadů. Největší důraz je pak kladen na technologii vitrifikace. První část se zabývá vznikem a rozdělením radioaktivního odpadu. Dále jsou uvedeny základní možnosti zpracování radioaktivních odpadů. Následující část se podrobněji věnuje metodě vitrifikace. The master theses is focused on understanding the problems of radioactive waste processing. The greatest emphasis is placed on the technology of vitrification.
