Drugs and addiction in adolescence

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou drogových závislostí se zaměřením na mladistvé. Práce je koncipována jako teoretická studie, to znamená, že se zabývá vysvětlením základních pojmů týkajících se tohoto tématu. Cílem práce je vytvořit soubor informací, které by mohly sloužit jako příručka pro rodiče nebo pro jedince potýkající se s tímto problémem. Tato práce by také mohla sloužit jako podklad k výzkumu. Najdeme zde vysvětlení pojmu droga, ale také její odvětví. Je zde popsán účinek, který konkrétní droga přináší, také její užívání či orientační cena. Podobně je popsán i pojem závislosti a abstinenčního syndromu, zde byl objasněn i stav, který člověk prožívá po vysazení drogy. Následně se tato práce soustředí na mladistvé, kde hlavním problémem řešení jsou negativní vlivy, které mohou ovlivnit jedince k užívání drog. Dále tato práce seznamuje s prevencí a s možností prevenčních aktivit pro žáky a studenty. V neposlední řadě se práce zabývá místy v Moravskoslezském kraji, kde mohou závislí lidé vyhledat pomoc. Na konci této práce můžeme najít výzkumná šetření a studie, která se zabývala tématem užívání drog u mladistvých.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of drug addiction of younger individuals. It is theoretical, focusing on the main points and basic terms of this area. The main purpose of this thesis is creation of a body of important information, that could help the affected individuals or their parents deal with this issue. It can also serve as a base for a research.You will be informed about the definition of the term "drug" and the different categories. As well as the effects of the respective kinds of drugs. You can also find the term "addiction" and its explanation, the definition of withdrawal syndrome and information about this period. This thesis then focuses mainly on the youth and dealing with negative influences present in the lives of the younger generation, possibly resulting in drug addiction. This thesis also provides information about the prevention of drug abuse and the possible preventive measures. The thesis then provides insight on the places in the Moravian-Silesian Region, where the addicts can seek help. The last part of this thesis shows a few research studies on the topic of drug abuse of the younger generation and their addiction.
