Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou postavení instituce voleb v období tranzice. Volby byly paradigmatem přechodů chápány jako určující prvek napomáhající k demokratické tranzici. This thesis deals with the position of the institution of elections in the transition period. The elections were seen from the transition paradigm as a determining factor conducive to democratic transition. This position was, however, challenged by the paradigm of hybrid regimes that denied the adoration of elections as a key element in the transition to democracy.
