Organizational architecture of multinational companies

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce s názvem "Organizační architektura nadnárodních společností" si klade za cíl seznámit čtenáře s moderními organizačními architekturami společností, které vznikly v důsledku procesu globalizace. V teoretické části jsou definovány základní pojmy a prezentovány typy organizačních struktur, které jsou používány v současnosti. Dále byla provedena analýza organizačních struktur dvou společností, které působí v různých oblastech, a které se na první pohled velice liší. V praktické části je pro každou společnost prezentována organizační struktura na vyšší a nižší úrovni. Cílem mé práci je analýza a komparace organizačních struktur společností ČEZ a Société Générale a jejich dceřiných společností. V následující kapitole byla provedena analýza získaných empirických poznatků. V závěru jsem představila svůj vlastní názor týkající se vývoje organizačních struktur analyzovaných společností.

Abstract:

The Bachelor's Thesis Organizational architecture of multinational companies sets the target to introduce to the reader the modern organizational architecture of the companies which arose as a result of the process of globalization. In the theoretical part, the basic terms are defined and the types of organizational architecture used nowadays, are presented. In the practical part, is presented the analysis of two different companies, from different branches of the economy, which at the first sight, are very different. For each company was presented the organizational architecture on a higher and lower level. The main purpose of this work is the analysis and comparison of the organizational structures in ČEZ and Société Générale and their daughter companies. In the following chapter, is presented my empirical knowledge, gained after analyzing the two companies. As a conclusion, is highlighted my own opinion regarding the evolution of the organizational structures analyzed in this work.
