The Analysis the satisfaction of patients with age-related macular degeneration at a selected eye clinic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce zjišťuje spokojenost pacientů s věkem podmíněnou makulární degenerací vybrané oční kliniky z pohledu poskytovaných služeb v rámci jejich anti-VEGF léčby. K provedení monitoringu byl vytvořený dotazník spokojenosti, který byl inspirovaný ambulantními dimenzemi projektu Kvalita očima pacientů a faktory ovlivňující spokojenost oftalmologických pacientů. Dotazník byl distribuován pacientům při pravidelných návštěvách v den léčby. Analýza byla provedena pomocí deskriptivní statistiky, kontingenčních tabulek a statistické-ho testu. Z výsledných dat bylo zjištěno, že pacienti jsou velmi spokojení s poskytovanými službami, především oceňují přístup zdravotních sester. Z dimenzí byla nejvíce oceněna citová opora a následná péče. Naopak menší nedostatky shledali s průběžnou informovaností a s časem stráveným na klinice. Vysoká spokojenost pacientů, odráží dobrou kvalitu poskytovaných služeb oční kliniky.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis examines the satisfaction of patients with age-related macular degeneration of a selected eye clinic from the point of view of the services provided as part of their anti-VEGF treatment. To carry out the monitoring, a satisfaction questionnaire was created, which was inspired by the ambulatory dimensions of the project Quality through the eyes of patients and factors influencing the satisfaction of ophthalmological patients. The questionnaire was distributed to patients at regular visits on the day of treatment. The analysis was performed using descriptive statistics, contingency tables and a statistical test. From the resulting data, it was found that patients are very satisfied with the services provided, especially they appreciate the approach of the nurses. Of the dimensions, emotional support and follow-up care were most appreciated. On the contrary, they looked for deficiencies with continuous information and with less time spent in the clinic. High patient satisfaction reflects the good quality of services provided by the eye clinic.
