Suggestion of botanically oriented educational activities during field excursions

Abstract:

V úvodní části této bakalářské práce byla vymezena terénní exkurze jako forma výuky biologie. Byla popsána proměna role učitele při terénní exkurzi, dále byly zmíněny přínosy terénní exkurze pro výuku botaniky a byl shrnut průběh terénní exkurze tak, jako ho popisují autoři odborné literatury. V rámci této práce jsou také zmíněny dva termíny, které spolu mohou úzce souviset, a těmi jsou "zoošovinismus", což je jev, kdy učitelé mají tendenci vysvětlovat fyziologii a přírodní jevy na příkladu zvířat a často tak zanedbávají nauku o rostlinách, a "plant blindness", který označuje skutečnost, že rostliny a jejich role v přírodě jsou často zanedbávány. Následně bylo navrhnuto dvanáct aktivit, které lze využít pro výuku botaniky během terénní exkurze, či po terénní botanické exkurzi s nasbíraným materiálem v jejím průběhu.

Abstract:

In the introductory part of this bachelor's thesis, a field trip was defined as a form of teaching biology. The change in the role of the teacher during the field trip was described, the benefits of the field trip for teaching botany were mentioned, and the process of the field trip was summarized as described by the authors. This thesis also mentions two terms that may be closely related, " zoochauvinism ", a phenomenon in which teachers tend to explain physiology and natural phenomena on the example of animals and often neglect the science of plants, and "plant blindness ", which indicates the fact that plants and their role in nature are often neglected. Subsequently, twelve activities that can be used for teaching botany during a field botanical excursion or after a field botanical excursion with the collected material were proposed.
