Multicultural management in financial sphere

Abstract:

The aim of my Bachelor thesis is approaching the issue of multiculturalism, help to understand multiculturalism as a process of mutual contact, penetration, conflict and mutual influence of several different cultures and emphasized the need introduction of multicultural education. Slovakia opened the world and is part of the process of globalization, the contacts with different cultures have become part of everyday life. In Slovakia, the strengthening the identity of old and new minorities, the Slovak citizens traveling to the whole world, in the Union, we have open borders, markets, shops, cultural and job and come to us migrants from around the world. Slovakia became a part of multicultural world, yet However, in our experience stereotypical views and attitudes of the world, and therefore in the first part I work in multiculturalism and multicultural education, which helps to manage the challenges the current globalizing world. Significant shifts in the global economic environment have a substantial impact on changes in approaches and methods of managerial work. Managers are faced with new phenomena, which entails the development of fault dynamics and the resulting inability anticipate future developments, which deals in the second part of Bachelor work. Under the influence of globalization, disappearing borders between countries arise large multinational companies, which employ experts from around the world and give together multicultural teams, which is dedicated to the third part. Changing business conditions require the flexibility of corporate strategy and behavior-oriented not only to react to this changing environment, but also their anticipate, or even actively creating. And the fourth section focuses on the corporate Culture, which purposefully use to influence the formation and continuing to fall the most efficient means for owners and managers of firms to be able to successfully managed to reach the objectives.

Abstract:

Cieľom mojej bakalárskej práce je priblížiť problematiku multikulturalizmu, napomôcť pochopiť multikulturalizmus ako proces vzájomného kontaktu, prieniku, konfliktov a vzájomného ovplyvňovania viacerých odlišných kultúr a zdôrazniť nutnosť zavedenia multikulturálnej výchovy. Slovensko sa otvorilo svetu a je súčasťou procesov globalizácie, kontakty s odlišnými kultúrami sa stali súčasťou každodenného života. Na Slovensku sa posilňuje identita starých aj nových menšín, Slovenskí občania cestujú do celého sveta, v Európskej únii máme otvorené hranice, trhy, obchody, kultúrnu a pracovnú ponuku a prichádzajú k nám migranti z celého sveta. Slovensko sa stalo súčasťou multikultúrneho sveta, predsa však u nás prežívajú stereotypné pohľady na svet a postoje, a preto sa v prvej časti venujem multikulturalizmu a multikultúrnej výchove, ktorá pomáha zvládnuť výzvy súčasného globalizujúceho sa sveta. Výrazné posuny v globálnom ekonomickom prostredí majú podstatný dopad aj na zmeny v prístupoch a metódach riadiacej práce. Manageri sú konfrontovaní s novými javmi, ktoré prináša so sebou zlomová dynamika vývoja a z toho prameniaca nemožnosť predvídať budúci vývoj, čomu sa venujem v druhej časti bakalárskej práci. Pod vplyvom globalizácie miznú hranice medzi jednotlivými krajinami, vznikajú veľké nadnárodné spoločnosti, ktoré zamestnávajú odborníkov z celého sveta a dávajú dohromady multikulturálne tímy, ktorým je venovaná tretia časť. Premenlivé podnikateľské podmienky si vyžadujú aj pružnosť firemnej stratégie a správanie orientované nielen na reakciu na vzniknuté zmeny prostredia, ale aj ich predvídanie, či dokonca aktívne vytváranie. A práve štvrtá časť je zameraná na firemnú kultúru, ktorej cieľavedomé využívanie, ovplyvňovanie a sústavné utváranie patrí k najúčinnejším prostriedkom vlastníkov a managerov firmy k tomu, aby ju mohli úspešne riadiť v záujme dosahovania stanovených cieľov.
