Social work with pregnant nad postpartum women in labor with emphasis on psychosis and depression

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá sociální prací s těhotnými a matkami v šestinedělí s důrazem na prevenci poporodní deprese a psychózy. Teoretická část je zaměřena na popis těhotenství, porodu, šestinedělí a psychických změn, které u žen mohou nastat. Dále se v této části věnuji popisu poporodní deprese a poporodní psychózy, jejich projevům a léčbě. Teoretickou část také tvoří možnosti prevence těchto duševních onemocnění, sociální práce s duševně nemocným a s jeho rodinou a formy pomoci, které může sociální práce nabídnout. V praktické části bylo cílem zjistit, jaká je informovanost žen o poporodní depresi a psychóze. Praktická část se tedy věnuje interpretaci dat, které byly získány pomocí kvantitativního výzkumu, přičemž technikou sběru dat byl anonymní dotazník.

Abstract:

The Thesis is concerned with social work with pregnant and puerperium mothers where prevention of postpartum depression and psychosis is emphasised. The theoretical part contains chapters about pregnancy, childbirth, puerperium and psychical changes which can be occured. Postpartum depression and psychosis, their manifestation and therapy are described. The forms of prevention of these mental diseases, social work with mentally ill people and their families and also help of social workers are encompassed. The aim of practical part was to find out knowledge of pregnant and puerperium mothers about postpartum depression and psychosis. Quantitative research was made by means of anonymous questionnaire and the results are interpreted in a practical part.
