Nursing Process of a Patient with Hydrocephalus

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na hydrocefalus a na ošetřovatelský proces u pacienta s diagnostikovaným normotenzním hydrocefalem. Cílem práce je podat čtenáři informace o hydrocefalu a vytvořit detailní popis případu pacienta s daným diagnostikovaným onemocněním. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V první části, teoretické, je uvedena klasifikace hydrocefalu, klinický obraz onemocnění a moţnosti léčby. Dále je práce zaměřena na ošetřovatelství v neurochirurgii, na ošetřovatelskou péči u pacienta s hydrocefalem a po následném zavedení ventrikuloperitoneální drenáţe. V praktické části je uveden popis případu pacienta s diagnostikovaným hydrocefalem a hospitalizovaným na naší klinice. Praktická část obsahuje tři rozpracované ošetřovatelské diagnózy, k jejichţ stanovení byla vyuţita NANDA I Taxonomie II 2018–2020. K utřídění získaných informací byl vyuţit ošetřovatelský model Funkčních vzorců zdraví podle Marjory Gordonové. V závěru práce je shrnutí ošetřovatelského procesu u pacientky s hydrocefalem.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on hydrocephalus and nursing process in patients with diagnosed normotensive hydrocephalus. The aim is to give the reader information about hydrocephalus and the objective of a detailed description of the case of the patient with the given diagnostic damage. The work is designed in two parts. In the first part, theoretical, is presented the classification of hydrocephalus, clinical picture of the disease and treatment options. Further care is focused on nursing in neurosurgery, nursing care in a patient with hydrocephalus and after the introduction of ventriculoperitoneal drainage. The practical part describes the case of a patient with a diagnosed hydrocephalus and hospitalized in our clinic. The practical part contains three elaborated nursing diagnoses, NANDA I Taxonomy II 2018–2020 was available for determination. The nursing model of Marjory Gordon's Functional Health Formulas was prepared to tighten the expected information. At the end of the work are summarized recommendations for practice and information material, important for students of nursing schools.
