Práce je podrobnou analýzou významných demografických změn v oblasti Krnovska a Jesenicka a jejích sekundárních demografických dopadů v průběhu dvacátého století (od roku 1918 do současnosti). Práce je tak zaměřena především na problematiku výměny obyvatelstva po odsunu Němců a srovnání vývoje obyvatelstva před druhou světovou válkou a po ní. Abstract:
The thesis is a detailed analysis of the important demographic changes in Krnov and Jeseník region and theirs secondary demographic impacts during twentieth century (since 1918 to present). The thesis in particular aims at questions of the transfer of Sudeten Germans and comparison of the population development before and after the Second World War.
