Crisis intervention for children with behavioural disorders

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Krizová intervence u dětí s poruchami chování“ má teoreticko-empirický charakter. Zaměřuje se na možnosti a potřeby krizové intervence u dětí s poruchami chování jako součásti provázení a podpory dítěte. Teoretická část v rámci prvních třech kapitol předkládá problematiku poruch chování, jejich vývoj a sociální oporu v kontextu potřeb krizové intervence, vymezuje krizi z psychosociálního hlediska a odbornou krizovou intervenci jako zdroj podpory a provázení. Empirická část diplomové práce shrnuje výzkumné šetření založené na kvalitativní strategii, jehož cílem je odhalení možností krizové intervence u dětí s poruchami chování. K naplnění cíle byly realizovány hloubkové rozhovory s dětmi s poruchami chování a analýza dokumentů. Výzkumné šetření odkrylo souvislost mezi krizovými situacemi v životě dítěte a následným rozvojem poruchy chování, odhalilo potřeby dětí ve vztahu ke krizové intervenci a předložilo možnosti a zdroje krizové intervence v kontextu těchto potřeb.

Abstract:

The thesis “Crisis intervention for children with behavioural disorders” has theoretical and empirical character. It is devoted to possibilities and needs of crisis intervention for children with behavioural disorders as a part of guidance and child support. In the first three chapters, theoretical part presents the behavioural disorders, their development and social support in context of needs for crisis intervention and defines crisis in psychosocial view and professional crisis intervention as a source of guidance and child support. Empirical part of thesis summarizes the research, based on qualitative strategy, it is aimed at detection of potential use of crisis intervention for children with behavioural disorders. In-depth interviews with children with behavioural disorders and document analysis were realized to meet the aim of research. The research detected a link between crisis in the life of a child and subsequent development of behavioural disorders, revealed needs of children related to crisis intervention and put forward possibilities and sources of crisis intervention in context of these needs.
