Tato diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi překladu vybraných německých idiomů s unikátními komponenty do češtiny. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části je ve třech kapitolách popsán stručný úvod do frazeologie, korpusové lingvistiky a překladatelské teorie.
