Single European currency and agenda of Euro introduction in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se bude především zabývat historií evropské integrace a nejdůležitějšími mezníky této historie, které se zasloužili o její vytvoření. Dále se práce zabývá též historií evropské měny a jejím statusem na poli měnového systému. Součástí této bakalářské práce je také bližší přiblížení fungování Evropské centrální banky a její způsoby, jakými ovlivňuje ECB měnovou politiku. Hlavní součástí této práce je podrobný rozbor příprav na zavedení eura v České republice, která doposud nestanovila přesné datum přijetí. Částečně se tato bakalářská práce věnuje zhodnocení situace na Slovensku, které přijalo euro 1. ledna 2009 jako svou národní měnu. Cílem této bakalářské práce je stanovení názoru na přijetí eura v České republice a zhodnocení problému, které jsou se zavedením eura spojovány.

Abstract:

This work is primarily focused on the history of European integration and the most important milestones of this history, which contributed to its creation. This work is also focused on the history of European currency and on the status of this currency in the field of monetary system. Part of this work is a closer approximation functioning of the European Central Bank and the ways to influence the ECB's monetary policy. The main part of this work is a detailed analysis of the preparations for the introduction of the euro in the Czech Republic, which so far has not set a precise date of receipt. In part, this work is the assessment of the situation in the Slovak Republic, which adopted the euro on 1st January 2009 as its national currency. The aim of this thesis is to determine the view to adopting the euro in the Czech Republic and to assess the problems that are associated with the euro introduction.
