Changes in the biomechanics of walking on different surfaces

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je posoudit biomechanické změny během chůze na nerovných površích. Teoretická část se zabývá chůzí, anatomií dolní končetiny, kinetickou a kinematickou analýzou pohybu lidského těla a povrchy ve školách. V praktické části diplomové práce je popsáno testování, kterého se zúčastnilo deset probandů. Podmínkou byl věk mezi sedmnácti a devatenácti roky. Test se skládal z šesti pokusů na třech odlišných površích. Kinematická a kinetická data byla změřena za pomocí 10 infračervených kamer Qualisys a synchronizována se třemi dynamometrickými plošinami Kistler. Pro identifikaci a popis jednotlivých markeru byl použit software Qualysis track manager. Přes software Visual3D byl vytvořen model lidského těla. Data byla následně zpracována ve statistickém programu SPSS Statistics, který vyhodnotil významnost rozdílů v naměřených datech. Po zpracování dat v programu SPSS Statistics nebyly nalezeny žádné statisticky významné rozdíly. Bylo zjištěno, že rozdílné povrchy nezpůsobovali významné biomechanické rozdíly během chůze.

Abstract:

The aim of this diploma thesis is to assess biomechanical changes during gait on various surfaces. The theoretical part deals with walking, anatomy of the lower limbs, kinetic and kinematic analysis of human body movement and surfaces in schools. The practical part of the diploma thesis describes testing, of which there were ten probands. The condition was an age between seventeen and nineteen. The test consisted of six trials on three different surfaces. Kinematic and kinetic data were measured using 10 Qualisys infrared cameras and synchronized with three Kistler dynamometric platforms. Qualysis track manager software was used to identify and describe individual brands. A model of the human body was created using Visual3D software. The data were then processed in the statistical program SPSS Statistics, which evaluated the significance of differences in the measured data. No statistically significant differences were found after processing the data in SPSS Statistics. It was found that the different surfaces did not cause significant biomechanical differences during walking.
