Digitisation of state social assistance benefits at the Labour Office from the perspective of line workers: is it resulting in satisfaction, dissatisfaction or client alienation?

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se věnuje digitalizaci dávek státní sociální podpory a jejímu dopadu na pracovníky v první linii. Cílem je zjistit, zda u pracovníků v první linii došlo k přijetí nově zaváděných nástrojů digitalizace dávek státní sociální podpory, která je součástí transformace a modernizace úřadů práce a zda ztotožnění s cíli organizace a procesem k jejich dosažení způsobilo spokojenost pracovníků, nebo naopak způsobilo nespokojenost nebo dokonce pocit odosobnění od klientů, který je v kontextu této práce chápán jako výsledek nedostatku interakce s klienty způsobené útlumem osobního kontaktu. Uskutečněný kvalitativní výzkum formou focus-group poskytuje velké množství názorů a postojů liniových pracovníků a poukazuje na vznik pracovní nespokojenosti ve vztahu k digitalizaci dávek státní sociální podpory a také na vznik odosobnění liniových pracovníků od klientů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis focuses on the digitalization of state social support benefits and its impact on frontline workers. The aim is to find out whether frontline workers have embraced the newly introduced tools of the digitalization of state social assistance benefits, which is part of the transformation and modernization of labour offices, and whether identification with the goals of the organization and the process to achieve them has caused satisfaction among workers or, on the contrary, has caused dissatisfaction or even a feeling of alienation from clients, which in the context of this thesis is understood as a result of the lack of interaction with clients caused by the decline of personal contact. The qualitative research carried out in the form of a focus group provides a large number of opinions and attitudes of line workers and points to the emergence of job dissatisfaction in relation to the digitisation of state social assistance benefits and also to the emergence of alienation of line workers from clients.
