Abstract:

Thesis supervisor: doc. Ing. Rajmund Mirdala, PhD. Year of defence: 2015. Number of pages: 98. Master´s Diploma Thesis Economic Crisis and Bank Sector Activities focuses on the analysis of the banking sector during the economic crisis in selected countries and its impact on the real economy. The introductory part explains the theoretical definition of a crisis and its characteristics, also focuses on the definition of the financial system and its functions, including the banking sector. At the core of the work through the analysis we focused on assessment of the situation in the Slovak banking sector, while we concentrate on some other euro area countries with reference to the development of the real economy. In the final part, reviewing selected measures, which were adopted as a regulatory framework for the euro area banking sector to address the impact that the crisis brought along .

Diplomová práca Aktivity bankového sektora v čase hospodárske krízy sa sústreďuje na analýzu bankového sektora v čase hospodárskej krízy vo vybraných krajinách a jej dopad na reálnu ekonomiku. Úvodná časť práce objasňuje teoretické vymedzenie pojmu kríza a jej charakteristiku, zameriava sa aj na definovanie finančného systému a jeho funkcií vrátane bankového sektora. V jadre práce sa prostredníctvom analýzy zameriavame na zhodnotenie situácie v bankovom sektore na Slovensku a zároveň sa sústreďujeme na niektoré ďalšie krajiny eurozóny s poukázaním na vývoj ich reálnej ekonomiky. V záverečnej časti práce, prehodnocujeme vybrané opatrenia, ktoré boli prijaté ako regulačný rámec pre bankový sektor eurozóny na riešenie dôsledkov, ktoré so sebou kríza priniesla.
